What CCTool Does

CCTool is a convoy synchronization utility for Euro Truck Simulator 2 (ETS2) and American Truck Simulator (ATS).

It helps teams:

1. Export convoy save data from one profile.
2. Upload convoy profiles to the CCTool server.
3. Let authorized team members import convoy saves into their local profiles.
4. Reduce manual save sharing, version mismatch issues, and role confusion.

Core features:

1. Save import/export workflow for convoy operations.
2. Team-based access control through Discord role mapping.
3. Cloud-hosted profile storage by Team and Convoy.
4. Automatic CC message helper with manual text or Google Sheets.

Who Can Do What

Permissions are controlled by CCTool team role and Discord mapping.

General behavior:

1. Owner/Manager roles can export and manage profiles for their team.
2. User role can import profiles shared by their team.
3. Users cannot access other teams unless explicitly mapped and authorized.

Before You Start

Recommended checklist:

1. Use local game profiles, not Steam Cloud profiles.
2. Ensure your Documents folder is available locally (OneDrive sync may cause conflicts).
3. Run ETS2/ATS at least once and create a base save using the base profile of the particular CC Team you want to import profile from.
4. Confirm Discord account and team role are correctly mapped.
5. Keep internet connection stable during import/export operations.

Important runtime behavior:

1. CCTool now allows only one app instance at a time.
2. If you try to open it again while it is already running, the second launch will exit and show a warning.
